WHO WE ARE
Help For All onlus is an association that manages a distance learning program at Toma, in the north west of Burkina Faso.
Currently 67 students are supported in all levels of education , from elementary school through university.
The children and young people included in the program are among the most needy in the country and the members, by paying a monthly fee of €26, contribute to the payment of school and medical expenses.
In recent years, development and self-financing projects have also been launched:
- an electric mill was installed in the center of Toma for grinding millet, corn and rice;
- just outside the village, on a field of about one hectare, cattle, sheep and poultry are raised, fruit trees are planted and medicinal herbs are cultivated.
Both projects are managed by local representatives of the association with whom we are in regular contact, regarding the school career of individual students too.
ETHNIC CRAFTS
It is possible to contribute to the development of the projects by purchasing local handicrafts at the Borghetto Flaminio a Rome.
In particular: batik, bracelets, postcards, baskets, caskets, masks, small statues.
It is also possible to buy
- small table canvases (paintings in tempera or watercolor after famous originals, digitized serial reproduction): by Corot, by Cezanne, by Monet, by Sargent, by Cezanne, other, other
- painted ceramic cups: cup1, cup2, cup3, cup4
